We hope you've had an amazing stay in Windham at our home. We're sad to say goodbye but look forward to hosting you again. Please read the check out procedures below carefully to ensure a good transition for our next guests and to ensure there are no deductions from your security deposit upon check-out.

Check out is at 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged beforehand. Please check out on a timely basis as our cleaning crew often comes in on the same day.

  • Please close all windows and shut all doors leading outside.

  • Please turn off all lights inside and outside, as well as all ceiling fans.

  • Please make sure that you have all belongings (check closets and drawers!).

  • Please don't forget to log out of your personal streaming subscriptions.

  • Please load all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher.

  • Please remember to take your food with you from the refrigerator and freezer.

  • Please make sure no open food is left inside or outside.

  • Please put all used towels on the floor in front of each bed.

  • If you played pool/chess, please make sure all balls/chess pieces are accounted for.

  • If you used the arcade, please make sure the USB drive is in the machine.

  • Please make sure the fireplace and/or outdoor fire pit are fully extinguished if they were used.

  • If you played cornhole, please make sure it is put back into the carry bag and placed in the mudroom.

  • Please make sure the hot tub is fully covered if it was used.

  • Please make sure the grill is cleaned off of food, shut-off, propane knob is in the off position and cover is on.

  • Please return all TV, fan and heating/cooling remotes to their rightful room.

  • Please turn off all radiant heating thermostats (heated floors) in the entry way, kitchen and master bathroom.

  • If your stay is during the winter months, please keep the baseboard heat above a minimum of 68 degrees to ensure the water pipes do not freeze.

  • Please bag ALL garbage and leave the garbage bags in the bins located on the right side of the Lodge. Make sure all bins are securely latched.

  • Please press the bottom right lock button on the keypad to lock the front door as you leave.

  • Please message us to let us know when the last member of your party has left. We really hope you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again!
